Jennifer and Matt's Engagement Shoot

Jennifer and Matt were such a pleasure to work with, fun, creative and easy going. What could make this engagement shoot any better? How about four locations! We covered a lot of ground and even two wardrobe changes but the results are fantastic, lots of photos, lots of variety and lots of love!

thanks Jenn and Matt!

Meredith and Andrew's Wedding

Meredith is an old friend/co-worker of mine that I met at a kids camp on the Sunshine Coast. When Meredith and Andrew asked me to photograph their wedding I was absolutely ecstatic! The wedding ran so smoothly and we even got to shoot in a totally new location. I have to admit once we finished working for the night and we joined in the festivities Cat and I had a blast!
Congrats to Meredith and Andrew!! Thanks you two.

Where have I been!?

If you're one of many people wondering why it's been so long since the last blog update, I have an answer! Cat and I have been working day and night on our new brand. It's been two seasons since our last refresh and this time we're going all out. We've gathered a team of creative professionals who will be launching our new brand and site very soon!

Brides for Breasts Gala - October 22nd 2009

This month Cat and I are excited to be volunteering in the Savvy Bride "Brides for Breasts Gala"! The Brides For Breasts Gala is a night of great food, great company, and great fun benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation and The Cinderella Project. The night includes dinner, dancing, prizes, a silent auction, and (our favourite part!) a trash the dress photo shoot!! In the shoot brides-to-be and brides-who-have-been will wear their wedding dresses and get into the fountain outside the Westin Bayshore for Vancouver's biggest trash the dress shoot! We have also donated an engagement photography session for the silent auction.

The Gala is for a great cause and we hope to see you all there!

Volunteering for Diabetes

Lots of people ask why I'm so involved with Diabetes Camps, fundraising and events and it's all really just by coincidence. I used to attend a kids camp on the Sunshine Coast where kids with diabetes also attended. Long story short, having lots of friends living with diabetes and having worked there for so long, it only seemed natural to still be involved in some way. This year marks my seventh year with camps, with family camp just ending at the beginning of September. Strangely enough Cat has been involved as well. Her younger sister organized a ground breaking fundraising event at her school called Cyclebetes Spin-a-Thon, involving teams riding stationary bicycles for 24 consecutive hours. For the last two years Cat and her family have participated and the event has raised over $190,000!

It's really easy to participate and to get involved. Please check out the links below to see how you can help!
